The Travellanda team recently attended the IPW trade show in Washington, D.C. and the overall impression of the event was excellent. It was the second time Travellanda exhibited at IPW as part of its ongoing strategy to further enhance its presence in North America.
Travellanda sent a team of both sales and buyers in a bid to greatly increase its product range as well as its client base. USA is important for both source market destination for Travellanda, which makes IPW an event not to be missed.
The vast lands of USA are so diverse with each state and city completely different to the next. The video created by Brand USA promoting their ‘One Big Welcome’ campaign, just goes to show how amazing the country is. IPW is clearly a well organised event, some feedback from others say that it could possibly be one of the most organised trade shows in the world. The Travellanda team certainly found it to be an excellent opportunity to meet a lot of relevant people.
The networking opportunities available throughout the event were outstanding. The Travellanda team greatly benefited from excellent luncheons, dinners and parties.
Compared to the previous year, the team found that this year there was a lot more diversity in terms of people doing business both inbound and outbound. There seemed to be a lot more IT companies attending this year and more people in general.
Overall, it was a hugely beneficial trip that helped Travellanda further solidify its presence in North America and looks forward to exhibiting at next year’s event in Denver.
